In 8 years the population of Arizona has increased 30% to 6.7 million. The Casa Grande area has grown 79% in that same time.
Pinal County ( includes Casa Grande) is 60% Anglo and 30% Hispanic and unemployment is 11%.
Sales tax in AZ is only 5.6% but each county and city tacks on another 2-3 %.
We were very impressed with the Chamber and Tourist centers.
Casa Grande is 90 miles south of Phoenix on Interstate 10.
ReplyDeleteWe were going to stay at Casa Grande to but changed our minds... Love this area we are in now... So much to see and do! There is a nice camp ground that we drove into in Camp Verde called Zane Grey RV Park... $38 a night an if you have Good Sam you'll get 10% off that... Their website is www.zanegreyrvpark.com
ReplyDeleteA really really nice park... Don't know about Phonix... We didn't stay there either... Just overnight in Walmart LOL So glad you came by and visited. I joined your followers and I am adding you to my blogroll/favorites. HAve fun and I sure hope we'll meet on the road somewhere... We leave here Sunday for Petrified Forest (2 nights) and then off to Alburquerque. Staying at High Desert RV Park on the west side of there. Have fun & travel safe!
